How it started
very story has a beginning, ours started in June 1977, when Frank Pardy founded Related Holdings Ltd. with a simple idea: to build something lasting in the town he called home.
For decades, Frank invested in properties across Grand Falls-Windsor, laying the foundation for what would one day become one of Central Newfoundland’s most trusted names in commercial real estate. His approach was straightforward work hard, treat people right, and always take pride in your community.
In 2013, after years of living and working in Halifax, Preston Pardy returned home to help his father manage the business. It was a turning point one filled with both challenge and purpose. When Frank passed away in 2014, Preston made it his mission to carry forward his father’s vision while shaping a new, modern era for Related Holdings Ltd.
Armed with fresh ideas and a drive to revitalize Grand Falls-Windsor, Preston began transforming aging buildings into spaces designed not just for tenants, but for the next generation of local entrepreneurs.
By 2020, Preston became the sole shareholder of Related Holdings Ltd., marking a new phase in the company’s evolution. What started as a traditional real estate business has grown into a diversified portfolio spanning retail, office, warehouse, coworking, storage, and advertising properties all rooted in one mission: to help local business grow.
From restoring vaant buildings to developing modern business hubs like The High Street Hive, The Collective, and launching Pardy Central, RHL continues to bring life back to the heart of downtown Grand Falls-Windsor. Though the company has evolved, the heart of RHL remains the same, personal, local, and people-first. Every lease signed, every renovation completed, every new tenant welcomed carries the same spirit Frank started with nearly five decades ago:
When local businesses grow, our entire community thrives.

June 2014
Gray Press Media Inc. was born
After relocating in 2013 Preston incorporated Gray Press Media Inc. in the prvovice of NL, a digital marketing and web design company built to help local businesses grow online. What began as a creative outlet soon became a powerful extension of the Related Holdings flywheel — providing RHL tenants and local entrepreneurs with access to branding, websites, social media, and advertising support that help their businesses succeed both in-person and online.
Looking ahead…
Today, Related Holdings Ltd. stands as a testament to two generations of commitment past and future, father and son. What began in 1977 as one man’s dream has become a growing network of properties, ideas, and partnerships helping to redefine what’s possible from small-town Newfoundland.
And just like it began, the next chapter will be built the same way, one property, one opportunity, one community at a time.
